2018 AZ SciTech Festival Kicks Off

1500+ science and tech events happening across Arizona

PHOENIX, AZ (January, 29 2018)  Communities across the state are gearing up for the 2018 Arizona SciTech Festival, the state's annual celebration of more than 1,500 events involving science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

Now in its seventh year, SciTech Fest is the country's third-largest science festival with events taking place now and throughout February and March.

The Arizona SciTech Festival offers curious minds and creative hands many different ways to explore STEM across the state via interactive events, workshops, exhibitions, displays, lectures and tours. For event highlights, click here.

These events are critical for engaging future generations of scientists and technology leaders, as well as bolstering our growing STEM culture in the Grand Canyon State.
A robust STEM culture in Arizona has been a priority of Arizona Governor Doug Ducey's Office of Education. The Governor declared Jan. 27-Feb. 2 "Arizona SciTech Festival Week."

"Arizona's STEM ecosystem is thriving and we continue to attract cutting-edge tech companies, from innovative start-ups to global leaders," said Sandra Watson, President & CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. "The festival highlights the positive impact STEM has had on our communities, our talent pipeline and our overall economy."

"Cox is honored to again present the SciTech Festival. The festival is a wonderful way to capture student's interest in STEM topics, thus creating Arizona's future technology and science leaders," Susan Anable, Vice President of Public Affairs of Cox Communications Southwest.
