Arizona is home to many of the world's most respected and recognizable health care facilities. Examples include: the Mayo Clinic, Barrow Neurological, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and Banner Health.

Arizona has something to offer everyone – from beautiful desert vistas to snowcapped mountains. There are 67 lakes; 22 national parks, monuments and preserves; 25 state historical and recreational parks; four alpine ski areas and nine principal areas for cross-country skiing in Arizona.

The Grand Canyon is considered by many to be one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Arizona offers more than 300 public and private incomparable scenic golf courses as well as dozens of world-class resorts and spas.

Teams of five major professional sports leagues play in Arizona: the Phoenix Suns of the NBA, the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA, the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL, the Arizona Coyotes of the NHL and the Arizona Diamondbacks of MLB.

The Cactus League, a Major League Baseball spring training league, is played throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area every year. Teams include Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Angels, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres, Oakland As, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Arizona has a diversified cultural offering that includes: opera, ballet, children’s theaters, the Phoenix Symphony, and museums of all kinds – historical, science, art, military, botanical and cultural.

Arizona offers the country’s largest art walk, a self-guided art gallery tour through downtown Phoenix on the first Friday of every month.

Arizona's Mill Avenue Tempe, Old Town Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix areas offer an exciting nightlife and a vibrant entertainment district for younger crowds.
