ArizonaDigital Equity Program
The Arizona Commerce Authority is proud to lead the Arizona Digital Equity Program, an initiative to promote digital equity and inclusion and ensure that all people and communities have the skills, technology and capacity needed to reap the full benefits of our digital economy.
DIGITAL EQUITY PLAN
The Arizona Commerce Authority is pleased to release the approved and accepted version (as of April 2024) of Arizona’s Digital Equity Plan.
The Digital Equity Plan represents the culmination of a year-long, statewide collaborative effort, marked by attentive listening to the voices and feedback of communities across our state. This plan, written in response to the requirements laid out by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), addresses specific barriers faced by Arizonans to bridging the digital divide.
UPCOMING DIGITAL EQUITY WEBINARS
As part of this initiative, the ACA is hosting monthly Community Roundtable Conversations which will bring together community and non-profit organizations (faith-based, school, library, health, housing, etc.), industry leaders, local governments and other key stakeholder groups from around the state.
Connecting all people in Arizona to affordable, reliable high-speed internet is critical to our economic stability and these Community Roundtable Conversations will be crucial to understand what is needed and how to best shape the Arizona Digital Equity Plan. We hope you will join us!
