Autonomous-Truck Developer TuSimple Plans Driverless Road Test This Year

TuSimple announced plans to test its self-driving trucks on Arizona roads during the fourth quarter, without a backup driver on board. The pilot program will include commercial freight, said CEO Cheng Lu, who added the company is "being very careful, and very tactical about this."
