AV Perception Redundancy Assessment and Validation

The AV Perception Redundancy Assessment and Validation project is a collaboration between IAM members Intel and University of Arizona to validate automated vehicle (AV) perception systems. The team will develop a methodology to explore the impact of dual perception systems redundancy. This redundancy test fills industry gaps for AV safety assessment, offering the potential to design a groundbreaking means to  “vision test” AVs independently.
