Dental Innovation Company Opens State-of-the-Art Facility in Scottsdale

PHOENIX, AZ (November 1, 2011) — Global Dental Science, LLC today announced it is opening a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Scottsdale at Scottsdale Airpark. The company expects to create 150 new jobs over the next year with an initial investment of $5 million.

“We are excited to make Scottsdale, Arizona the home of our company headquarters and we are proud, particularly in this challenging economic environment, to be creating quality jobs that provide training in sustainable skills,” said Tim Thompson, president of Global Dental Services.

Global Dental Science will manufacture a new product, AvaDent™ Digital Dentures, exclusively at the new, 27,000 square-foot facility. Using CAD/CAM technology, AvaDent™ Digital Dentures are made using laser scanners that take precise measurements of each denture patient’s needs and then create a custom-fit, digital prosthetic.
