Phoenix Business Journal: Washington-Based Health Care Firm Relocates Corporate HQ to Scottsdale

LifeStance is moving its corporate headquarters to Scottsdale from Bellevue, Washington.

The outpatient behavioral health care provider is leasing approximately 20,000 square feet of space at 4800 N. Scottsdale Road, with an opening slated for early summer.

While the company employs more than 3,000 psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses, psychologists and therapists, it is too early to determine how many employees will be working at the new corporate headquarters.

Sandra Watson, President & CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, told the Business Journal that the company adds to an already thriving health care sector in Arizona.

"Arizona continues to prove that our skilled talent, pro-business environment, and unmatched quality of life are a winning combination for industry leaders like LifeStance Health," Watson said. "We're grateful for this significant investment in our state."

While maintaining a presence in Bellevue, Washington, the company currently operates more than 370 centers in 27 states.

In 2020, LifeStance expanded into 12 new states, accepting most commercial insurance plans in the states in which it operates.

As part of the company's growth, LifeStance has hired its first chief people officer.
