North America’s Largest Automotive Supplier To Build Manufacturing Facility In Mesa

Magna’s investment will create hundreds of new jobs to bolster the region

 

MESA, AZ (August 8, 2024) – Today, the Arizona Commerce Authority, Greater Phoenix Economic Council and the City of Mesa announced that Magna, a mobility technology company and one of the largest suppliers in the automotive space, is building a manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona. Located at Power Industrial Park, the nearly 230,000-square-foot facility is expected to create hundreds of new jobs.


Representing a multi-million-dollar investment, Magna’s new manufacturing facility highlights Arizona’s rapidly-growing automotive ecosystem that includes electric vehicle manufacturers Lucid and Nikola as well as automated vehicle innovators such as May Mobility and Gatik.

Leveraging Magna's extensive automotive expertise, flexibility, and experience working with various OEMs, the facility will incorporate innovative state-of-the-art technology and virtual tools, such as simulations, to ensure quality and flexibility to expedite the integration of new products.
