Eternity Technologies To Establish North American Headquarters And Battery Facility In Phoenix

Representing a $20 million investment, the new facility will create 50 new jobs.

PHOENIX, AZ (March 13, 2025) —
Eternity Technologies Inc., a global leader in the industrial battery market, is proud to announce the selection of Phoenix, Arizona, as the site of its new North American headquarters and cutting-edge battery manufacturing facility. This milestone investment underscores Eternity’s commitment to delivering world-class solutions for Motive Power and Reserve Power applications while supporting sustainable growth and innovation.

After an extensive selection process, Eternity Technologies worked closely with the Arizona Commerce Authority and local partners to finalize its decision. Phoenix was selected for its dynamic economic growth, business-friendly environment, strategic access to Western U.S. markets, and its diverse, highly-skilled workforce. The planned BNSF intermodal terminal further enhances the city’s appeal, offering superior logistics connectivity.

“The Phoenix facility will be one of the first outside our UAE flagship factory to implement our state-of-the-art fill and formation system for the new QUASAR VRLA product series,” said John Semeniuk, President of Eternity Technologies North America. “This expansion reinforces our dedication to environmentally friendly, maintenance-free battery technologies and sustainable manufacturing practices.”

“We’re proud to welcome Eternity Technologies’ North American headquarters and manufacturing facility to Arizona,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “This new facility showcases Arizona’s attractiveness as a premier destination for cutting-edge technologies while expanding our rapidly-growing battery ecosystem.”

Representing a $20 million investment, the new facility located in the Deer Valley Business Park will feature advanced manufacturing technology to produce high-performance batteries tailored for industrial traction applications. These include batteries for forklifts, power jacks, and other materials-handling equipment. Additionally, the facility will manufacture Reserve Power solutions for renewable energy storage, battery backup systems, hybrid systems, solar streetlights, and emergency lighting.

Once operational later this year, the Phoenix plant will employ approximately 50 skilled professionals and boast the world’s most advanced and environmentally friendly battery formation system.

The Phoenix facility reflects Eternity Technologies’ mission of advancing technology, operational excellence, and environmental stewardship. As a leader in the global battery market, the company remains committed to reducing its carbon footprint and driving sustainable innovation in all aspects of its operations.
