Arizona Tech Company Expands Operations, Creates Jobs

PHOENIX, AZ (September 18, 2018) — Arizona-based international call center company Valor Global announced today it is expanding operations in Arizona, creating 1,000 new jobs over the next 12 months. The jobs range from customer care to tech support for several international brands, including a major online streaming provider.

The company recently acquired a new 30,000 square foot facility at 13430 N. Black Canyon Highway in Phoenix and will be investing $3M and adding additional locations within Arizona.

"It's a testament to the strength of Arizona's pro-growth environment when companies that started here further invest in the state they call home," said Arizona Governor Doug Ducey. "Valor's expansion is welcomed news and we are proud to see another Arizona company continue to grow."

This latest expansion by Valor will increase its workforce to more than 2,000 employees globally. In addition to three Arizona locations, Valor has operations in Costa Rica and the Philippines.

"The growth is a testimonial of the trust that our customers continue to have in us and the extraordinary experiences that our team continues to deliver" said CEO and Founder Simer S. Mayo.

Valor is a leader in Call Center Solutions, with the highest employee retention ratios, Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and Net Promoter (NPS) scores for all customers it serves.

"Our employees, culture and core values have helped us become a leader in the call center industry," said Tom DePoy, Valor Global President. "While we may be a smaller player compared to the billion-dollar companies, our team continues to outperform our competitors with every customer we support. The credit for our success goes to each hard-working employee who has helped us built a culture of ownership, accountability and extraordinary experiences."

"This expansion further enhances Arizona's reputation as a technology and innovation hub," said Sandra Watson, President & CEO of Arizona Commerce Authority. "It's because of companies like Valor Global that Arizona is one of the fastest-growing cities in terms of tech job creation."

Phoenix experienced 188% job growth in the tech industry from 2015-2016, according to ZipRecruiter. The Phoenix metro area was ranked the #2 large market in tech job growth in the nation by CBRE Tech-Thirty in 2017.
