City of Tucson Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certification Programs
The City of Tucson Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Programs provides opportunities and incentives to certified firms located in Pima County to do business with the City of Tucson and Pima County on projects and contracts administered by the City and County's Procurement Departments. The SBE certification is a race and gender neutral program. All small business owners may apply for this program who meet the SBA business size standard and personal net worth criteria.
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program serves to create equal opportunity for those DBE firms doing business with the City of Tucson and Pima County on projects receiving federal financial assistance. All disadvantaged business owners may apply for this program who meet the SBA business size standard and personal net worth criteria. The DBE certification includes ethnic minorities and women. (24)
