The Arizona MEP held a four-hour mini Expo and Workshop event, Leveraging Arizona Resources to Find Manufacturing Employees workshop on March 9. Over 40 attendees from more than 35 companies came to learn about the resources and programs available to help them find and retain great employees.
Several supporting organizations were on hand at the Expo to guide attendees through these resources:
- Apprenticeships
- Veteran Employment
- Felon Friendly options
- Community College Certificate Programs
- University Engineering Schools/Programs
- Young Adult Opportunities (Ages 18-24)
The two-panel discussions allowed attendees to engage with program and resource leaders about the best way to leverage these resources.
Finding Employees Panel
