The Summer 2018 edition of TechConnect e-Mag is now available. This edition examines Arizona’s growing position as a frontrunner in the new frontier of aviation exploration: Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).
TechConnect examines the emerging technology and its growing impact on our skies, our state and our world.
The edition highlights the Arizona Commerce Authority’s AZSkyTech initiative, established this year under Governor Ducey's leadership, to position the state as the premier place in the world to safely test, deploy and advance UAS technology and policy.
The Governor also authors his signature column, detailing how the many commercial and humanitarian applications of UAS technology are already improving our lives and have the potential to speed the delivery of goods and services and create high-quality jobs.
Finally, TechConnect talks exclusively with two UAS experts – one from industry and the other from academia – who discuss why Arizona’s track-record as an innovator is helping the state emerge as a top place to test and deploy this technology.
